The elegant Sudoku assistant for Mac

What is Sudoku? It is a brainteaser coming from Japan, very popular in many countries around the world. There are scientific researches describing the mathematics behind Sudoku, and many teachers recommend it as improving logical thinking, but foremost it is a very enjoyable and intelligent game.

The aim of Sudoku Companion is to make solving Sudoku puzzles more convenient. It is very Mac-like and it has all necessary and expected features.

Sudoku Companion won’t solve anything for you, that would ruin all the fun, but it will allow you to enjoy solving Sudokus on your Mac without paper, pencil and bottles of Tipp-Ex.

System requirements: Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger or higher; 2.2 MB free disk space. Internet access to load Sudoku of the Day.

Shareware: Sudoku Companion is distributed as shareware. The game may be tested for a period of 15 days before it should be registered. However, it doesn't write any hidden files to your disk nor "calls home" and it is possible to use it (with a guilty conscience :-) longer if you haven't made up your mind by then.
