Answers:

  1. Is there any chance that Sudoku Companion will run on pre-Tiger Mac OS X?

    2. No, sorry. Sudoku Companion uses Core Data, the technology introduced in Tiger. There are no plans to make Sudoku Companion compatible with Panther or earlier versions of the Mac OS X.

  2. Is there a way to transfer the currently valid numbers into the notes for each cell?

    3. Yes, you can use the menu Game > Fill in Notes with Valid Numbers. Use it careful, it could be a fun killer.

  3. Is there a plan to implement an option to generate a new puzzle on the fly?

    4. Sudoku Companion starting with version 1.2 can generate new Sudokus in one of following degrees of difficulty: Easy, Medium, Hard, Fiendish, Insane.
